Rumford 48" With Wood Box Fireplace Project

Basic Project Outline Plan
Our first day naturally it rains.
After the initial layout we start the roughin of the fireplace.
Rained most of the day, but we keep at it.
Time to make a run for it. Got the layout and the roughin proceeding.
The 2nd day of the project turns out to be beautiful.
The roughin is completed and facing has begun.
About 8 tons of river rock and still climbing.
Backside of fireplace will be covered with an interior wall.
After six days the fireplace is pretty much complete and we start some rock floor work.
Looking straight at the face the firebox and woodbox accent each other.
Our man works on Three Rivers stone for the foyer.
